A recent update of 9to5mac quotes a source that tells about Apple event for media on March 15, 2016. Apple will introduce the much awaited iPhone 4-inch (iPhone 5SE), iPad Air 3, the new Apple Watch bands, Apple Watch with integrated Facetime camera, and more completing the Apple device series in 2016.
iPhone 5SE – Apple Event March 15, 2016
iPhone 4-inch, otherwise known as iPhone 5SE is to replace iPhone 5S and will be the last in the iPhone series in terms of the price range. Starting from $450 for 16GB and $ 100 higher for 64 GB storage, the price is similar to that of iPhone 5s. The iPhone will use A9 chip, 2GB of RAM, a new iSight camera to capture live photos, and the support for Apple Pay.
It seems there is nothing new about design and the appearance as it will adopt a whole design of iPhone 5S with a display similar to iPhone 6/6s.
IPad Air 3 – Apple Event March 15, 2016
This can be the successor of iPad Air 2, which was released in 2014. Two leaked images of iPad Air 3 shows it with the same features as iPad Pro: 4speakers and Smart Connector. The highlights will be an LED flash for iSight camera which is new for the iPad series and the Smart Connector, which can provide the power and send data to be used by certain accessory, such as the external keyboard.
According to the rumours, iPad Air 3 will adopt the 4K display. If you are a fan of iPad 9.7-inch, this upcoming iPad series is for you. ‘IPad Pro mini’ would be the perfect name for iPad Air 3 if it supports Apple Pencil. But Apple has not revealed anything about this. By the release of iPad Air 3, Apple will retain its top position in terms of tablet sales.
Apple Watch – Apple Event March 15, 2016
The premier in luxury watch brands, Apple will introduce new bands, including the new color sport bands, new Hermes bands, space black Milanese loop, and some other bands with various materials. Apple is also testing a high quality NATO- style nylon band series.
Apple Watch will get a minor hardware upgrade with a Facetime camera for video calls. Design will be same as its predecessor, and it isn’t the Apple Watch 2 version. Regarding the OS, they will announce watches 2.2, tested by developers. Presently, Apple is busy maximising Apple watch first gen.
The New MacBook Line Up – Apple Event March 15, 2016
The last in the series, The New MacBook Line Up will have the latest processor Intel Skylake and probably adopt DDR4 memory. There are rumours about the thinner MacBook Air and the 15- inch display but nothing is heard about its design.
Apple is keen on starting their new quarter with a great hardware to increase the sales. Predictions are positive regarding the MacBook sales and analysts believe that Apple will still dominate tablet market.
