Apple has finally acknowledged its problem – Error 53 and sends apologies to the customers affected by the flaw. The company promises to take adequate measures to fix it; though there is a clear catch in it.
An increasing number of people who bought iPhone found their device disabled due to the Error 53 –as the message flashed on the screen. It was said that when these devices got repaired through some third -party retailer, phone stopped working if they tried for an update of it. Many people got rid of this error either by fixing their screen or home button, which in turn adversely affects the Touch ID feature of the device.
Already Apple had made it clear that the Error 53 shows up as a security protocol when iPhone senses a non-Apple part attached to it. Furthermore, it’s told TechCrunch that it was just a factory test in order to ensure if the tool is working properly and that the message has not been meant to affect consumers at all.
Update to iOS 9.2.1 to Fix Error 53
Apple also introduces Apple Care- a reimbursement courtesy for all who’s forced to get a new handset because of the issue. And for those ones who have a dead iPhone or iPad with them , they can try an update to iOS 9.2.1 which allows them to restore their devices. However, one has to remember that this method will work only via iTunes and further prevents the mistake from happening in future.

There are some guidelines put up in the website on how to revive an iPhone or iPod. The user has to force restart their device first and then restore it. The bad part is even if they do manage to bring it to power; they won’t be able to access the Touch ID. It’s been be permanently disabled by the company stating that due to a non-Apple hardware, the device won’t be able to establish a secure connection. Hence, the only way to get back the Touch ID of your device is to hand over them to the company and paying them for the genuine parts.
To put it simply, Apple will be able to defend itself from the class action lawsuit move over the issue through this apology and it’s solution.
