The new report from a Taiwan-based supply chain regarding the upcoming iPad Air 3 says that the device will feature a 4K display and will also have up to 4 GB of Random Access Memory(RAM) and improved battery life.
Report says that the companies cooperate with Apple in providing the display panel of iPad are General Interface Solution and TPK, which will start to produce the part in the second quarter of 2016. Specifically, General Interface Solution will be responsible for LCD modules and touch panels along with backlighting products while TPK will supply touch panels.
Report says that the upcoming device might not adopt the 3D Touch technology, but it will come with 4 speakers technology like in iPad pro, and based on the leaked schematic image above it might also have a LED flash for the main camera.
If Apple is going to feature the 4K display on upcoming iPad Air 3, it will make iPad Air 3 as the iPad with the highest pixel density. The device will be announced on next Apple event, together with the other Apple products.
