Yahoo! made it to headlines setting up a new plot for users. This time its about restricting the entry of Adblock users to their account. Its a customary practice for users who get annoyed by unwanted advertisements and informations to use adblock softwares. Yahoo! seems to hinder this.

The new incident came to notice on 19th of last week when a few of Yahoo! adblock users while trying to sign in saw a new screen popping up just like the one given below .

The answer for this trouble was clearly depicted in the address bar (launch?reason=ADBLK_TRAP) One of the users let us know that you may  click on compose, enter the respective mail and when the message “ Do you want to leave the page?” appear, choosing “ Stay on page” can save you from the new plot of Yahoo! on adblockers.

Upon the enquiry made when more similar cases reported Yahoo came with the statement that they are trying an experiment of some standard A/B tests because they are “continually developing and testing new product experiences.”  It was also announced that a massive restriction on adblock users haven’t been proposed yet.

A Lion’s share of income is amassed through advertisements by Yahoo! Therefore its quite obvious why they keep adblock users outside the door. Users with adblock softwares don’t give any monitory benefit for the company. Whatever so, Yahoo! has to finalize which is comparatively preferable for their own sustenance: Users with adblock software or them switching to neighborhood mail service.

It would be a better option if Yahoo could stick to a system which isn’t so hard on users
